Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
